X-Factor's Samantha Jade: My secret love affair
The rising star only has eyes for one guy...

She’s wowed the nation with solid performances week in-week out, but to her boyfriend, Swedish record producer Christian Nilsson, Samantha Jade’s always been a star.

The couple fell in love when Samantha, 25, was recording songs in Sweden several years ago. “They moved to Los Angeles together and have been inseparable ever since,” a friend of the pair reveals to Woman’s Day. Samantha’s rocky road to success has been well documented on The X-Factor, which she admits is her final shot at stardom.

“Sammy was being flown around the world first class when she was still a kid,” X-Factor judge and her mentor Guy Sebastian reveals. “She was signed to Britney’s label and when Britney took off, she kind of got sidelined.”

Friends say Christian has been by Sammy’s side through thick and thin. The couple have been in a long-distance relationship since she moved back to Perth and began working for her father’s mining company while Christian stayed in LA. But the handsome Swede remains Sam’s biggest fan. “I love you,” he writes on her Facebook page. “Miss you doll.” Clearly, it will take more than distance to tear this loving couple apart.

Haha nice interesting phase Vic, you must of picked up those lines from someone else's or trying to make another statement to prove me or anyone else wrong lol. What you just said your right but you're half right and just like I said in my comment it can be both right or wrong and you don't have to yell out in your capital letters saying "OK". Sigh, sorry to say this but what will happen if you were in the other contestant position that you worked so hard but you didn't win just coz, she has more experience what will you feel? If that happens to you, you would be happy for her but at the same time deep down inside your heart you would be hurt. A lot of people & fans will not watch the X Factor this year and the coming years coz of unfairness and disadvantages to the new young talents. From now on whoever auditions this year they're not supposed to know any of the judges from the outside, have any recording albums & have a long experience of singing. Sorry if you're reading this Sammi..
OK, Samantha Jade should not need XFactor to lift her carrier, frankly I don't understand why she had not made it to the top world artists before? That recording company who dropped her before- idiots, stupid. It is crazy because she is amazing, mature artist with so much talent, and her voice is so distinctive, recognizable, so right on the spot. If I had to compare her it would be with Christina Aguilera vocal ability but so much cuter. Yes it was unfair for other Xfactor contestants to compete against experienced artist such as Samantha but look, she entered the show and there was no doubt in my mind she should win, and she rightly did. Only other option was to sign up recording deal with her for 50 albums and run Xfactor without her. If you are reading this Samantha- congratulations, I really hope you will make it big, have happy life, make plenty of money, keep feet on the ground, gooooood luck.
To be honest in my opinion I think it's a unfair that she has connections to the other recording contract, because cmon she has records before and yet the public votes still vote for her because, she's talented, beautiful and nice humble personality. I just can't believe it they let her win, x factor needs new talent not the person who sings before who has more experienced than other contestants. From the start I thought Angel Tupai would win because her voice is amazing and yet she got eliminated which I can't believe it, I wonder if Sammy gets eliminated she'll cry again like before probably going back to her father's work but the people who voted for her and the judges they don't want to be slack to her because she needs redemption of course she really wants this for her career. She is famous now but what about 10 years later she won't be famous like before. Btw where has all the good music gone for the last 12 yrs? We need the good old music back and we need new talent to be born.
1. She never released a cd... Awks 2. She is a fighter, I'm pretty sure that if you were dropped by a label, you'd give up. But not her, she's been working for her dream for at least 10 years and now she finally has it. 3. X- Factor isn't meant to be those who have "little or less talent" its for anyone who wants to fulfil their dreams and samantha has done that. 4. So what if she's similar to Kylie, She just has the same traits as her but they're two completely different people. I dont see anyone comparing the collective to Backstreet boys or 1D, Jason to a country singer and giving them hate about it. Maybe it's cos you people are just jealous So why dont you haters just start getting a chance to read her story and put yourselves in her shoes. She has deserved this and also she has more fans than haters. Her fans are going to support her to the very end.
hi samantha jade your amazing on the x factor i am so happy you won and i love your song what you've done to me its the best and keep it up
I agree that this show should be used to discover NEW talent and not revive old. Good luck to the girl if she lasts. Our family does not vote so we cannot complain too much. We will not be downloading her music either nor buying it. She will be another star for a while that the media and TV will throw into our faces until they realise we are not interested. Also some of you should watch a KYlie video and see how this girl copies her.
people should take a step back and be greatful that we have so much talent in this country and appreciate our kids. they rock. all of them. Sammy is as bigger star as any and truely deserved to win. It is a public vote. The haters should be hating on the public majority, not the girl who shone brighter in our eyes.
I can't believe the comments by people saying that Sam is a wanna be Kylie does that mean that Jason is a wanna be John Denver and the Collective are wanna be one direction. Then the comments are made about other contestants who were voted out by the public cause they weren't good enough to keep going. The only judge that should have not been there was Natalie as she let her group down cause she was unable to select the right songs. If you so hung up about sam and all of her chances why not look into the reasons why it did not go ahead instead of shooting your mouths off and looking absolutely stupid. If the career is there for the top 3 then good luck to them and it's the public that keep them there thru purchases, DOH.
Because they allowed Sam on X Factor, when she was closely connected to one of the judges (Guy) and has already been signed and released CD's - IS WRONG. It has destroy the basis of what X Factor is suppose to be. Now - to state she is involved with a "Record Producer" - is another kick in the face to the people who voted for her. A lot of us won't be watching X Factor again.
Well i think yes Sammy was good but not any different to most of our female singers out there, at the end of the she was always going to beat Jason becauseshe will make all involved more money. Nathaniel should have won i say.

The Australian public is trying to tell the producers and the media that we do not care much about the Bridges woman nor the Commando. For those defending these two lowlifes by saying the relationship was already broken then honestly people grow up. Every relationship needs to be worked at hard for the sake of children. I really do think the Spice Girls were very inmature and silly young ladies, but they were not nasty and vicious like those 2 Cabramatta girls. Fancy them saying after they did not win at the Sydney markets that they would have done a better job of making the Vietnamese Pork Rolls, that the brother and sister team won in that challenge. Sophia and Ashlee must have seen green that day, with smoke coming out of their ears. SUFFER. Obviously you both think you can do better, but the public that came for lunch at the market didn't think so.
