Question

My hair is dead straight and I can't do anything with it. How can I get loose curls without using a curling iron or rollers? Is it possible to just use mousse and scrunch? Will this work?
— Jenn

Answer

Unfortunately you just can't scrunch it dry and create curls if your hair is dead straight. I can however suggest that you wash your hair in the evening, blow dry till it is 50% dry and then twist it into a low bun and sleep with it in. By the morning your hair should be dry and hopefully you should have some wave definition.
