Question

I like to exfoliate every day to keep my skin smooth and feeling clean but recently I read an article in a magazine that said exfoliating can make you look older over time. Is this true? I have combination skin so how often should I do this? I just don't feel clean until I do it.

Answer

I would suggest that you exfoliate once to twice a week and opt for a foaming cleansing gel if you need your skin to feel clean. Garnier have a variety of foamimg cleansers that are available from your supermarket.

And no, exfoliation does not accelerate ageing — if anything, it is a necessary step to prevent ageing.
