Snickers brownie

INGREDIENTS

200g dark chocolate, chopped
150g butter, chopped
¼ cup caster sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup plain flour
¼ cup self-raising flour
2 Snickers bars, chopped into approximately 1cm cubes
icing sugar, to dust
METHOD

MAKES 24



  1. Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C. Lightly grease and line an 18 x 28cm slice pan with baking paper.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine dark chocolate, butter and sugar. Stir over
    a low heat until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool 10 minutes.

  3. Whisk eggs into chocolate mixture, then stir combined sifted flours through. Stir in Snickers pieces.

  4. Spoon mixture into pan. Bake 20-25 minutes, until a skewer comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on a rack. Cut into slices and dust with icing sugar. Store in an airtight container or serve warm as a dessert with ice-cream or thick cream.

  • You can store these biscuits in an airtight container for about 1 week.
