Are you one of those people who feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day to get things done?

Well, as strange as it sounds, a personal concierge might just be the answer.

They can take care of everything from taking the dog to the vet to buying birthday presents.

Personal concierge Debbie Alford told the TODAY show she can assist with everything from planning parties to helping out new mums.

"For the women it's the wife they have always wanted and for the men it's like having a wife without the sex," she said.

So what else does the personal concierge service provide and how much will it cost? Find out more in the video player above.

Great article about our profession. My Personal Concierge is a service located in Sydney and we also have a San Francisco office. 'Outsourcing your life' they call it in California, however, our clients really do appreciate the value in being able to get on with the important things in life - family and work - while we take care of the daily practical tasks, deal with the emergencies and generally back them up. There are few things that we can not achieve with our extensive networks, ranging from small local tasks through to international corporate events, client support. Many clients use us for the first time and suddenly realise how truly easy it is to get the support when they need it, how they need it. My Personal Concierge - www.mypersonalconcierge.com.au
I am a Personal Concierge in Brisbane, I have been operating for nearly five years but our industry is still in its infancy in Australia. A Personal Concierge is as common as a personal trainer in the States and UK and has been for many years. Australians should not be afraid to outsource and stop trying to be superman or superwoman! We can't do it all, we should not be afraid to get some assistance, and free up time to do spend with family and friends. We also have iCALM the Institute of Concierge and Lifestyle Mangers for anyone with any questions about a Personal Concierge.
