Groom caught cheating at his wedding reception — by his father in-law
"...the pair snuck into the kitchen for a secret rendezvous, getting it on just hours after the newlywed said "I do" to his bride."

A German groom has brought about an abrupt end to his wedding when he was caught cheating with a waitress at the reception. To make matters worse, he was caught by his new father-in-law.

According to the story from Austria, which has emerged some months after the event, the pair snuck into the kitchen for a secret rendezvous just hours after the newlywed said "I do" to his bride.

The father-in-law went into the kitchen for a snack but was instead confronted by his son-in-law's infidelity.

Austria's Vorarlberg Online reported that the groom wanted to experience singlehood one last time before he tied the knot. His timing was obviously a bit off.

Understandably, the bride's father called off the celebrations, turning off the music and sending everyone home without an explanation.

The bride asked for a divorce from the wedding registry on the same day, but was refused.

Under Austrian law, she had to stay with her adulterous husband for six months before they were allowed to call it quits.

The court eventually granted the divorce and the groom has now remarried — to none other than the waitress he was caught with at the wedding reception.

My husband and I were invited to a wedding of a male friend and future wife 2B. We arrived at the church, went inside, sat down, on groom's side and looked around at a sea of faces (not to mention groomsmen) that we didn't know. Music started, we all stood up, bride walked down the aisle (all fine) stopped at the altar and kissed her groom!! This man was not our friend!! Yes, we checked. We had the right time, right church, right bride, BUT the groom was a complete stranger to us!!! We congratulated the 'happy' couple, left the gift and went on our way home, shaking our heads. Later, we mentioned this strange wedding to some other friends, who told us how our friend was dumped by this woman, and went on to marry her ex-boyfriend. The bride told them 'I invited "X" (me) and her husband, because they come from old money and I just knew they'd get me a lovely wedding gift'. We were left speechless, but now, 15 years on, we laugh about it. How's that for odd!
certainly i agree with you...faggo tini
I was invited to a wedding many, many years ago by a workmate. It was her cousins wedding, she didn't want to go alone as it was a couple of hours drive away. The ceremony went off without a hitch but the reception!!! The best man, the brides brother went looking for the groom for the speeches to begin. After 15 minutes he came into the room, picked up his stuff and walked out. Strange, everyone thought. The groomsmen went to see what was going on with a couple of friends. The groom was in the wedding car with the bridesmaid. Needless to say there was a lot of yelling, punches and slaps thrown. Most of the guests came out to see what the fuss was and it was VERY obvious what was going on. Everyone at the reception knew in 5 minutes what had happened. The brides father asked everyone to leave and to take their gifts with them. It was a really interesting trip home. My friend moved not long and we lost contact so I don't know how it all ended. Still the Strangest wedding EVER!
The Catholic priest who married us fancied my aunt and asked her if he could take her home after our reception.
I went to a wedding a few years ago and guests heard more than they wanted during the speeches. The groom got up, raised his glass, thanked his parents and in-laws. Eventually he turned around to his new bride and said "And finally I'd like to thank my new bride for sleeping with my best-man! Cheers!" Then all hell broke loose, the groom left the reception and needless to say they did not live happily ever after.
I was a guest at a wedding about 15 years ago. I had both the groom and his mother say highly inappropriate things. Firstly, the groom came over to me whilst the bride made her way down the winding aisle to the celebrant. He said to me, if you say yes I'll run away with you, I have always loved you. I blushed and said I was happily with someone else. Everyone around me gave me filthy looks. Secondly the mother of the groom said DURING her speech, we all know our family are not fans of 'insert brides name here' we would much prefer that he marry 'TT' a life time friend who isnt like 'insert brides name here' I left the reception immediately, red faced and apologetic to the bride who was livid. 10 Years later I was single and as soon as he heard he left his wife to pursue me... A restraining order promptly ensued - for him and his mother!!!
What a PIG! disgusting excuse for a man whom was entering into marriage - For goodness sake - why be in a relationship if you cannot commit to the one your are marrying! Do your partner a favour and leave them if you aren't 100% commited! This is not ok.
I am aware of a "man" (I'll use this term loosely) who slept with his brides' best friend the night before he was married. The wedding proceeded, as she was unaware of what happened, but after some years they eventually got divorced. He was a loser from the start and she now has a much better life.
If he wanted to experience single-hood one last time, then don't get married!
