When it comes to losing weight, just like everything in life we need to a little bit of inspiration to achieve our goals. Elle Macpherson's trainer James Duigan has come on board for the Woman's Day diet in 2012 and shares with us all of his top tips.

Make sure you follow the rules, work out plan, eat two snacks from the snack list per day and stick to the portion sizes.

Eating Plan Day 12
Breakfast
Bircher muesli.

Homemade pizza with 100g lean chicken breast,
mushrooms,
tomato and
rocket with 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese on wholemeal pita.
Daily diet tip: “Fish and fish oils are great for weight loss, because they help metabolise fat and reduce inflammation. They’re also a great source of omega-3s, which are good for the brain, as opposed to junk foods, which can play with the brain’s chemistry and cause mood and behaviour issues,” says James.
