Sticky Chinese spare ribs
INGREDIENTS
½ cup char sui sauce
1/3 cup honey
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1kg pork spare ribs, cut into pieces
Wok-tossed Asian greens, shredded green onions and steamed rice, to serve
METHOD
- Preheat grill to medium.
- In a large bowl, combine char sui, honey and garlic. Add pork pieces, tossing to coat.
- Place pork on a wire rack in a baking dish. Grill 15-20 minutes, turning and basting occasionally, until cooked through.
- Serve with wok-tossed Asian greens, green onions and steamed rice.
Top tips- Char sui is a sweet sauce available from the Asian section of your supermarket.
- These ribs can also be cooked on the barbecue.
