Fish masala

Fish masala

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
420g jar tikka masala simmer sauce
800g blue eye cod or other boneless firm white fish, cubed
150g green beans, trimmed, halved
steamed rice, tomato and onion salsa, natural yogurt, to serve
METHOD


  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes until onion is tender.
  2. Blend in the tikka masala simmer sauce. Cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add fish and beans. Simmer, covered, for 8-10 minutes until fish is cooked through. Serve with rice, salsa and yogurt.




Top tip
Try this recipe with chicken or mixed seafood. Cook the chicken for 20 minutes rather than 10 minutes.
