Kerri-Anne Kennerley now the host of
Mornings With Kerri-Anne spent much of the decade quite living the high life with a string of outrageous stunts on her iconic '80s show,
Good Morning Australia.
Exclusively sharing some fun pictures with us from her personal album, Kerri-Anne says that her action-packed career has forced her to face many of her fears and lead to a long and memorable line of live TV moments.
Her daredevil antics have left her abseiling down a multi-storey buildings, parasailing, hot air ballooning which ended in a terrifying rough landing and even riding a show horse and a camel.
"I've always been a bit adventurous; I've always loved getting in there having a good time," laughs the star, who says she now prefers a sedate game of golf.
The star recalls the thrill of hosting
GMA from the lawns of Kirribilli House with the then-Prime Minister Bob Hawke popping out to say hello as a particular highlight. However, Kerri-Anne doesn't miss the fashions of the flamboyant decade.
"It wasn't one of the finest fashion eras," she laughs.
