One question has puzzled Hollywood since Christmas – where in the world is Angelina Jolie? As one of the most famous faces on the planet, cameras track Ange’s every move, making it virtually impossible for her to go anywhere unnoticed. Yet no-one has seen her since December 6 – and US magazine Star has a very exciting explanation for her disappearance.

In last week’s cover story, which confidently declared, “Angelina: I’m pregnant again!”, Star’s sources explain that Ange, 37, has been missing in action while coping with the first stages of her third pregnancy with partner Brad Pitt. “They’re so ecstatic to have a new addition to the family!” one source confides. The couple’s rep refused to confirm or deny the report when approached by Woman’s Day, but Ange did go to ground with her previous two pregnancies.

While carrying Shiloh, now 6, in 2006, Ange had a more than sizeable bump before she allowed herself to be caught on camera by People magazine’s photographers. Before her twins Vivienne and Knox were born in July 2008, Ange hid her big news from the world by doing a voiceover for animated movie Kung Fu Panda.

She finally revealed her twins bump on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, just two months before the birth. Insiders are wondering whether she and Brad, 49 – also parents to adopted children Maddox, 11, Pax, 9, and Zahara, 8 – will come clean on their baby news during the Hollywood awards season, with the Oscars fast approaching on February 24. It’s unlikely, claims Star’s source. “She had morning sickness and didn’t want to draw attention to herself in public,” their insider says. “She’s focusing on the other children right now, trying to prepare them for the new baby.”
