Announcing the news on The Ellen Degeneres Show
today, the 13-time Emmy Award winner said she would be making her first visit to Australia in March.
And just like talk show queen Oprah, she is bringing her 400 fans with her.
Partnering up with Swisse and Qantas, Ellen made the announcement while taping an interview with Nicole Kidman. The interview is due to air on her show in the US tomorrow and in Australia on Monday.
Despite being married to Aussie actress Portia de Rossi, Ellen has never visited Australia before.
"I am partnering with Swisse and I love it because they're an Australian company and they want to help me get to Australia," she said during the taping.
"So, I am actually, for the first time in my life, going to Australia. I’m going in March and I'm going to shoot a bunch of stuff in Melbourne and Sydney. We're going to do tape pieces and meet the fans and hang out."
The studio audience were then sent into a frenzy when Ellen revealed they would also each receive airfares and accommodation to experience an Australian adventure of their own.
Ellen is set to arrive in Australia on March 15.
