Fifi Box: Why I've got no regrets
Solo mum Fifi Box prepares to welcome her first child.

Radio host Fifi Box is busy preparing for her baby, shopping for pink accessories, setting up a bassinet in her bedroom and sharing her excitement with fans and friends on Twitter. Fifi, 36, is still coming to terms with the breakdown of her relationship with former champion ironman Grant Kenny, 49, who was recently revealed as the baby’s father, as well as the challenges of becoming a single mum.

But she is refusing to let it get her down, taking to Twitter to urge her fans “to never regret anything that made you smile”. She also posted a picture on Christmas Day of her new baby bassinet, saying, “Away in a manger … and the magic begins.” Fifi, who co-hosts a radio show on 2DayFM with Jules Lund and has appeared on Dancing With The Stars, told listeners she wanted to keep the identity of her baby daddy secret to protect his privacy.

Grant was later revealed as the dad but neither he nor Fifi have publicly confirmed it, although friends say the two are no longer in a relationship. In another tweet wishing her fans a Happy New Year, Fifi said: “Remember life is short. Forgive quickly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably & never regret anything that made you smile.”

Fifi spent the holiday break in Melbourne with her mum, while Grant stayed in Queensland. Grant separated from Lisa Curry, 50, in 2009 but the former golden couple and their children, Jaimi, 25, Morgan, 22, and Jett, 18, looked happy and relaxed in a photograph posted on Christmas Day.

Who cares if she knew she may get pregnant, all children are a blessing, and this one will have a loving, happy environment with an extended family to show her all the love and happiness she deserves. Much more than a lot of other poor little kids in this world. Takes 2 to make a baby. Fifi will make an amazing mum, and who knows, she still may meet Mr right and extend her family, life is full of lovely surprises. Good luck Fifi and Trixie, so happy for you both.
Why should Grant tell Lisa? Which part of EX does she not understand? Grant owes Lisa no explanation, he is a grown man. Why is she on the cover playing victim and as if she was robbed of something when it was never hers. Good luck to Fifi and I am glad she is bringing new life to this world, even if it is in odd circumstances.
WHO CARES - with the world fuill of guns and destruction who cares who screwed who and got who pregnant, Fifi and Kim (Kardashian)are pregnant yes but why the hell does the world have to know, I wish them well but really get a life.
I have no idea why Lisa Curry is on the front cover of magazines about this! If Grant is the father of Fifi's baby, then it's his business, not hers! They are divorced, she has her own boyfriends (much younger than her) that we all have to hear about and I don't remember seeing any articles in the press about how Grant felt about that. As for the children being embarrassed, why should they be? I think you should be Lisa for speaking out so publicly about this. As for Fifi, I wish you all the very best during this very special time in your life. If you have done nothing wrong here!!
I don't think Grant Kenny will be struggling to pay child support, even if Fifi insists he does and it does take two to tango, you know...! And how do the denigrators know she trapped him?!!! I became pregnant twice(to my Hubby)despite the mini pill, breast-feeding, being in my mid-thirties and having past fertility issues...! It's not like Fifi would be struggling to find a guy to impregnate her, either...! She seems like a sweet, sensitive and intelligent person who really wants this baby and she hasn't said a thing against Grant or even mentioned him being the Dad, as far as I know... I think it would be sad for someone who really wanted kids never to have them, too. She is 36, has a successful career and can support a child...good on her!

I am mystified as to why Lisa Curry's photo is being splashed around on Magazine covers in relation to Fifi's baby joy. She hasn't done Grant any favours, he comes across as spineless. It takes two to tango, he's a grown man who after three kids of his own must know all about the birds and bees lol. As for it being a scandal, well that's a laugh, Lisa left Grant years ago for a much younger man (or has their been a couple now)? Their children can't possibly be any more embarrassed. For all their noble words the articles came across as tasteless. I wish Fifi all the very best and hope everything goes well for her and her bub.I hope we get to see pics of her gorgeous little girl.
Fifi is well known to be desperate for a baby, she struck 1st Prize in the gene lottery with Grant, I feel sorry for Grant, to think a women of her age and experience can "accidentaly" get preganant is just bull ! For the next installment wait for Fifi to reduce child access to Grant. Your not alone Grant, many other dads out their can sympathise with your position mate.
