Charlize Theron is reputedly “fuming” over the affair between her Snow White And The Huntsman co-star Kristen Stewart and the film’s married director Rupert Sanders.
The two actresses shared a sisterly bond throughout filming, but Charlize is now said to be stuck in the middle of the cheating scandal after Kristen admitted to an affair with Sanders, the husband of Charlize’s good friend Liberty Ross.
“Charlize is absolutely fuming with Kristen for having an affair with Rupert,” an unnamed source told Radar Online.
“She is very tight with Liberty, has often socialised with the family over dinner and cannot believe Kristen has done this.”
The Oscar-winning actress, who adopted eight-month-old Jackson in March, was so close to Kristen she even told her about the forthcoming adoption.
“Charlize confided to her new friend about her adoption plans. She even asked Kristen if she wanted to be her baby Jackson’s godmother — that was how close they were,” the source said.
Details of the affair came to light last week when US Weekly released a series of pictures of Kristen and Rupert together. Both have since publicly apologised.
Now Leopold Ross, the brother of Rupert’s actress wife, says the affair may have been going on for up to six months.
And Charlize, who had no idea, feels completely betrayed.
“It’s certainly left Charlize between a rock and a hard place, because she feels great sympathy for Liberty and the kids, and yet she has a sisterly love for Kristen,” the source said.
Meanwhile, it looks like the two-year relationship between Kristen and her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson is over. Moving vans were spotted outside the $6 million Los Angeles home that the pair shared. It is not clear which star moved out of the luxury home first.
