Brad and Ange are clashing over troubled Pax.

For years, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been the poster parents for modern families. Until now. Friends have revealed that Pax, the second-eldest at age eight, has behavioural issues, which may stem from his early years in a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage.

Brad and Ange are now reportedly clashing over how to handle him. “Pax is somewhat of a challenging child,” an insider tells Woman’s Day. And the one bearing the brunt of the problem is his studious brother, Maddox.

“Pax has been taking out his frustrations on him, culminating in ripping up a science project Madd had put together on the solar system,” says our source. “Pax and Maddox’s fights at times escalate into physical ones, which Ange won’t tolerate,” says a close friend of the couple. “But she doesn’t like discipline, so she just separates them.”

This sort of reaction has Brad tearing his hair out. “Brad’s upset with Angie – he accuses her of appearing to treat Maddox as her favourite, leaving Pax feeling excluded,” claims a source. “Angie frequently takes Maddox on solo mother-son bonding sessions, but leaves Brad to deal with Pax. Pax gets sad because he’s left to play with Zahara and Shiloh… But the truth is he’s not often chosen for excursions due to his behaviour.”

My hubby and I often do that ourselves, as we have a child with behavoiur issue, when should I expect a call for my interview and article in the womans day
However reading between the lines, this is normal family issues and i think that is great. If pax misbehaves in public, then he is old enough to suffer the consequences. But sounds like normal family issues, and with very normal parents. Fame and money does not buy a parent more wisdom or benefit them with more skills...i hope they succeed in their roles as parents as well as they have in their work life...Tabloids should spend more time looking in their own back yard .
I say get this child to Super Nanny (Jo Frost), Otherwise the kid will end up back in the orphanage. Dont blame his behaviour from where he came from, it all stems from upbringing.

It's well established now that non genetically similar adopted kids often have problems. I have a friend who adopted two Indian children, one of which committed suicide and the other got into drugs, despite all the love and attention in the world. Non genetically similar children can tell immediately that they are different, and it raises questions that young minds are not at a devlopmentally advanced enough stage to answer. Angelina is now paying the price for her fixation with a 'UN' family.
What both parents need to do is show a united front. Also the aim should be to change behaviour and that can be done over time by rewarding the errant child when he does good behaviour as oppossed to his bad behaviour thus bringing about behavioural change. It appears both parents are frustrated with how to deal with the child and this is effecting their relationship.
She does't like discipline, but she obviously likes to abandon a child who is already crying out for love, so if she's a real mother, get down and cuddle the kid and find out what's going on. Has nothing to do with the orphanage, if kids feel, see and hear the love, you can tame a lion with the attitude "that only love prevails" so it sounds like these parents need to step up to the task and take time out themselves to recharge and go in there refreshed, even if their time out is an hour a day to start with, and bring in a caring nanny for that time to bridge the gap. Gees they have enough money for a million solutions.. more than most... get on with it I say.
one child acting out makes news? just because he has famous parents.... he just needs discipline! shame the kids who actually have issues never rate a mention or get all the help they need.
Who gives a damn! Sick and tired of all the rubbish that appears about this pair....who really cares. She is weird and he needs to man up. Being an ambassador does no mean that she has suddenly become an angel incarnate, and if the tabloids are to be believed, he needs to get a grip and realise that he is father to a future generation of adults, and make some kind of effort to put stability and values into these young lives. Living in posh homes and travelling the world does not guarantee that these young children are receiving the grounding that will make them valuable members of society.
