After seven years and six children together, it’s official - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged.
Brad’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante confirmed the news in a statement, after Angelina was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand on Wednesday night.
"Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring," the statement read.
Brad has hinted that the pair were considering marriage after revealing that it was important to their children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
Brad designed Angelina a custom made ring from Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop who helped design Angelina's Style of Jolie collection.
Procop said Brad was very much a part of the design process.
"Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realised over a year-long collaboration," he said.
"He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina's hand.”
