Jen's joy: 'I'm having a baby'

Friday, August 8, 2008
The clucky star is about to realise her baby dreams, with or without a man.

Jennifer Aniston has revealed she is having a baby, despite concerns about her boyfriend John Mayer's commitment to their relationship.

Coming in the wake of her ex-husband Brad Pitt showing off his twin babies with Angelina Jolie, the clucky star, 39, insists she is going to have a child — regardless of whether or not John stays involved in her life.

"Seeing Brad with his kids hasn't been easy for her," a friend told UK magazine Look. "It's made her all the more determined to be a mum."

While her hopes are pinned on a conventional family life with John, Jennifer isn't letting unkind whispers about his suitability as a long-term partner put a dampener on her dreams, and she is now immersed in baby preparations.

For the full story, see this week's 60th anniversary issue of Woman's Day (on sale August 11).

jen isn't neccessarily looking or pushing for a relationship to turn into marriage...but what normal woman doesn't want that sort of stability and or happiness, i do...and damn she looks great for 47...its the men she's been with loss...not hers...she's great...she's real...men don't always take the time to get to know real woman...cause they just want one thing...or its to much to get serious to soon...it's sad really...it happens to us all...not just the stars...
Jen didn't want babies with Brad at the time, and that was a factor in him moving on unfortunately. But I do really feel for Jen, seeing the man she still clearly loves, having babies with another woman (who is also gorgeous) and having it rubbed in her face all the time in the media is pretty hard. But I wish Jen would just get on with her life and not worry about whether a relationship is going to turn into 'marriage
Probably not, It depends on how energetic i would feel at that age and if i would want to be spending my future relaxing time, raising kids all over again. Besides i would want to see grandchildren grow up so 47 is a bit late.
i agree with sammi, jen is well grounded and she will do the right thing by her children, also that jen is by no means a homewrecker and exactly right she is the type of person that will take care of her children herself...and i stick by what i said on the 18th too...
Of course she can do it on her own All men are good 4 is killing spiders and donating sperm
I think Jen would make a great mum. She seems well grounded and I'm sure she'd do the right thing by her child(ren). I don't believe that she'd have a child simply because her ex-husband is, to make headlines, improve her status, for another guy or any other wrong reason. So if this is true, I wish her the best of luck.
your right, jen will never get close to ange, jen will never be a homewrecker. As for sucess Jen is already ahead, she was on a hit sitcom that wound up years ago yet she still gets paid every time it is on TV and correct me if i am wrong, but Foxtel airs at least 2 episodes of Friends per day. As for mothering, at least Jen will be the type of mother who actually takes care of her kids herself
Jennifer Anniston was the best choice for brad pitt, it ws his loss there splitting up, definitly not hers, these people who are saying she should've had a baby when she had the chance with this so called loving husband, where is he now and what's he doing, he left her remember, it's a typical male trait, they leave the good ones, because they don't see what they have with that person, they see what they could have with someone else, so wrong, and as for her so called non exsistant career, she has a great career, and if she feels she's at the time in her life where she wants a baby, whats wrong with that, i don't like angelina at all, she's fake, and tries to impress for all the wrong reasons, god knows what brad sees in her that he doesn't see in jen, jen your a better person, actress, and will be the better mother, your reasons for being with a man are real, as everyones should be and i'm sure your reasons for wanting children are the same, good luck jen your man will come...
Great idea, Jen! You could get it a little sweater and put it in a little matching purse, just like Paris! So adorable! So now! Oh wait - that was a puppy...
Well, she can support the baby better than a lot of other people could. I don't see such the big deal about her being a single mother. Maybe she wants a baby cause her clock's ticking and would actually like to have children. I doubt she is trying to be Angelina.
