Since Australian Idol contestant Toby Moulton told Woman's Day about his search for love, we've been flooded with letters from women who believe they are perfect for the sexy school teacher. Jackie Brygel meets some of the women who want to win his heart.
Dared by her sister and a close friend to write to Toby, Emily Bruce, from Newcastle, says she found our interview with the singer to be "quite comforting".
"Like Toby, I'm a 30-year-old school teacher who's been accused of being 'too picky'," she says. "I dream of having a family of my own and sharing this with my soul mate."
Convinced Toby is a genuine guy, Emily wants the singer to know there's "nothing wrong with waiting for the right one".
A single mother of two, Brisbane hotel manager Tammy Falso believes she and Toby have much in common.
"Like Toby, I want to make sure the person I meet is right," Tammy, 29, says. "But if I had a dollar for every time someone said, 'Why are you still single?', I'd be a millionaire by now!"
And Tammy laughingly reveals her daughters have also given Toby their blessing. "We watch him every week on Idol and I've always said 'I'm going to marry him, girls!'"
Single for two years, 37-year-old mum Teresa Lane confesses she would love to find love again.
"I think we all deserve to have someone special in our life," she reflects. "It's not fair that we're on our own."
Based in South Australia, where she works as a medical receptionist, Teresa has been won over by what she calls Toby's "generosity".
"When he sings, it's from the heart – and that's exactly what he's about," she says.
Jihanne Azemothe, 23, who works in real estate in Victoria, was instantly drawn to Toby.
"He has that shyness about him," she says. "Because I'm very outgoing, I feel it's good to have that balance."
Single for six months, after coming out of a relationship, Jihanne says she's ready to give love "another go".
