With her popularity declining, Pippa hits back at her sister’s golden-girl image

As a child, Pippa was known as the beautiful, outgoing Middleton daughter, and was more than happy to plant herself in the limelight ahead of her more studious, shy, older sister Kate.

When Kate began to make a name for herself as Prince William’s girlfriend, and later wife, at first Pippa, 28, didn’t seem to mind she was being eclipsed. After all, as the breakout star of her older sister’s royal wedding last year, Pippa’s social stocks also rose dramatically.

But a year on, after a string of public mishaps, Pippa has found her golden-girl status rapidly diminishing, thanks to bad press about partying and using her royal connections for personal gain. Worst of all for Pippa, it’s believed her prized royal social set is now freezing her out.

In a barely contained jealous rage, Pippa last weekend grabbed headlines in the most subtle way she knew – wearing a racy red version of the exact dress her sister famously wore at her engagement photocall last year. And, according to a high-profile royal insider, it couldn’t have come at a more inconvenient time for Kate.

I do not know why some people could be so cruel to compare these sisters and blame Pippa to be jealous of her sister. If she intends to wear her red dress, so what? just because it is the same color like what her Kate wear that you label Pippa to be jealous of her sister? Just leave her alone and mind your own business.
oh please. I wore a dress that was similar to the one my sister wore to her engagement party, about 2 years later, was I jealous? It didn't even click that it was similar until about 6 months later when someone mentioned it. Also it seems to me that the media is more interested in her then she is in them. IMHO the media is afraid to bag Kate and so insteadattacks the next best person her sister. To me she doesn't seem to be courting the media but rather being a young single woman enjoying her life.
Kate or Pippa are not beautiful. Plenty of makeup makes them average. Their parents were better looking in their hey day.

It is amazing how the press can create something or someone when it is useful to them . Like Pippas popularity at the time , then to simply pop the balloon when it's over.
Leave Pippa alone, for crying in the mud, she probably would just like to live the life of the rich and famous without being judged and photographed every step of the way........!!!
I couldn't understand all the hooha created around her bottom at Kate's wedding! I mean many Australia women look better all around, including their rear ends and have better attitudes to boot! Now she's pouting and going a little silly, so maybe she will fit in with the other royals, after all apart from the Queen the family always have been a little potty.
I know nothing about her.However, in regards to looks, she is only just a little better than average.No Australian male would rate Pippa Middleton as better looking than that.
The dress is probably "the" dress.......inherited from her sister, nothing wrong with that is there? Its great that these Royal ladies are not above doing normal sisterly things.
What a joke I mean really.....it was clearly obvious in the beginning that she was lapping up her sisters status as a royal girlfriend.....before Will's and Kate Pippa was nothing...now she is nothing more than a shadow of her sister....the jealousy is clearly obvious the things that Pippa will do for some media coverage is pathetic!!! Pippa needs to grow up and some bloody maturity!!!
