Movember woes ,

Every morning for the last three weeks, I've woken up, looked across the bed and felt a moment of sheer terror. Then it finally it dawns on me. No, my husband hasn't been kidnapped in the night and replaced by Guido The Pool Boy. It's just Movember.

Save Our Kids ,

A few weeks ago, Take 5 editor Belinda Wallis and I met with Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to discuss the Woman's Day and Take 5 Save Our Kids campaign. Our initiative is calling for a Minister for Child Protection as well a centralised system to share information on child abuse cases across the states and territories.

Quilt For A Cure , A couple of months ago, we were working out what Woman's Day could do for our annual Pink Issue, when deputy editor Zoe had the idea: "Why don't we make a pink quilt, get celebrities to pose with it, and then auction it off and give the proceeds to charity?"
