1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry. To enter, simply purchase any MUM deodorant, Wella, Olay, Herbal Essences, Pantene, Gillette (including Gillette Venus), Clairol Nice N Easy, or Head & Shoulders product from an Australian Woolworths store then send your full name, address, contact phone number, photo of you and your mum and tell us in 100 words or less "why should your mum be crowned ‘2008 Mother of the Year’?”. Don’t forget to attach or include a recent photo of you and your mum. Send in your completed entry either by mail or email before 30th June. Email entries are to be sent to mumoftheyear@acpmagazines.com.au or send your entry by mail to Woolworths/ PG 2008 Mother of the Year Promotion PO Box 434 Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW, 2004. Entrants must retain product bar codes and/or a photocopy of Woolworths register receipt as proof of purchase. The Promoter reserves the right to request to see the proof of purchase in order to validate the entrant’s prize claim.
3. Promotion commences 8am AEDST May 19th and nominations close on 30th June (last mail received for mail entries and 11:59pm AEST for email entries).. All valid entries received before 30th June will be included in the judging . Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements and (c) each entry must be substantially unique. This is a game of Skill, Chance plays no part in determining the winner. The Promoters decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter. No correspondence will be entered into. Photographs will not be returned.
4. All valid entries received as determined by the judges will be included in the round one judging and will receive a Dusk Candle valued at $7.99.
5. All valid entries received will be included in the judging and the best 10 entries as determined by the judges will be deemed finalists and will win the Finalists package valued at up to $1000. Each package includes 1x economy class flight from the winners nearest capital city to Sydney (valued at up to$400 depending on point of departure), 1x night’s shared accommodation at the Sheraton On The Park (valued at $400) and each will receive a pamper package at the 54 Park Street Beauty Bar valued at $200). It is a condition of accepting the prize that the finalist be photographed and interviewed by the Promoter to appear in a Double Page Spread Advertorial in Woman’s Day magazine. This photo shoot will take place at a time stipulated by the Promoter during the finalists prize winning trip to Sydney. Each of the 10x finalists will also be invited to a brunch in Sydney where the winner will be announced. Details of dates and venue will be provided at time of finalists notification
6. Winners will be determined by the judges. The finalists will be notified as to which issue they will appear in when they are notified they are a finalist
7. All finalists will be included in the final round of judging. .. The Major prize winner will receive a Holiday for 2 adults and 2 children to Vanuatu valued at $16,780. The winner will also appear on the Nine Network’s Mornings with Kerri Anne Kennerley show, and this is compulsory to attend. In the event that the winner is required to appear on the show, the segment will need to be filmed at a time stipulated by the Promoter in order to meet production schedules of the Mornings with Kerri Anne show. Any ancillary costs associated with the winner attending this filming is the responsibility of the Promoter.
8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss incurred in the event that the scheduled event is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled for any reason whatsoever.
9. This Major Prize includes 4x return economy airfares from the winners nearest capital city out of Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth to Vanuatu on Air Vanuatu (valued at up to $8,000 depending on point of departure) Also included in this prize are 7 nights accommodation in a Penthouse valued at $8400, Tropical buffet breakfast daily for 4 people, Massage for 2 adults ($180), 1 x Dinner for the family at Watermark Restaurant ($200) and Free tennis for the children during their stay. For the purposes of redemption of the major prize, children are deemed to be persons who are aged under 18
10. All components of the prize are subject to booking and availability. Airfare tickets are not valid during high season or during periods of seasonal embargo- the winner will be notified of this at time of booking.
11. Total Prize pool is valued at up to $58,740 (depending on point of departure).
12. Spending money, meals (unless otherwise stated), items of a personal nature, airport or port taxes, government taxes or levies, laundry, telephone calls, room upgrades, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the responsibility of the winner. Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider.
13. The winner (and any companion) is responsible for ensuring that they have any required travel documentation. The winner (and any companions) must depart from and return to the same point of departure and travel together. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Standard conditions for tickets and accommodation apply. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of check in at accommodation to cover all incidentals they may incur during their stay at the hotel. In the event that the winner cannot obtain such documentation in time to redeem their prize, the winner will forfeit their prize and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize
14. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or that element of the prize.
15. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or legal guardian.
16. All components of the prize must be booked together and as a package. Any component of the prize not booked as a package will be forfeited.
17. In the event that the prize, or part of the prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various Lottery Departments.

19. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including but not limited to an entrants identity, age, place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20. The prize can not be taken with any other special offers or third party discounts.
21. The Major prize must be redeemed in full by 30 December 2008. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Value of the prize is given by the supplier and is correct at time of printing. Prize must be taken as stipulated by the Promoters. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoters, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher/ ticket/ pass, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher/ ticket/ pass. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher/ticket/pass that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
22. The Promoters may contact an entrant at any time after receiving an entry, including without limitation during or after the promotional period or after the prize draw, for the purpose of determining whether the entrant meets the eligibility requirements.
23. The judging will take place will take place at the Promoters premises and will begin week commencing June 29 2008. The winners will be notified via phone using contact details provided in their entry.
24. In the event or war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoters, the Promoters reserves the right to either provide an alternate travel destination to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under any applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including but not limited to an entrants identity, age, place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. The Promoters assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
30. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional email is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the email shall be deemed invalid.
31. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoters which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoters reserves the right in its sole discretion (subject to all relevant state and territory regulations) to cease the promotion with fair notification to the entrants. The form of such notification is at the complete discretion of the Promoters.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant and/or (f) redemption of the prize;
33. All entries become the property of the Promoters. The collection use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion is governed by the Promoter's Privacy Notice.
34. By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.
